Here is the solution. Here is true wisdom. It is particularly encouraging that it is put in the way that it is. University courses often require a great many qualifications before you can even start but here, even if you know nothing at all, there is hope. For other courses there may be age-barriers, but Proverbs is especially for the young who have so much to learn. Much of the book deliberately aims at young people. At the entrance to Plato’s school, we are told, there was a notice which said,
